Disneyland - Day 2

The next morning started BRIGHT and EARLY. I could barely sleep. Normally I wake up around 6 and 7, but I was up at about 5 every morning. Who can sleep when the happiest place on earth is on your doorstep?

This was our first BIG day in the park, and we started it off with a bang - Character Breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. I made special outfits for Princess and Tobes for their first day (and got shirts for Hubs and I that went along as well) and so we got dressed and ready and headed over to the Disneyland Hotel for breakfast. Now if you ask Tobes how his trip was in Disneyland, he'll tell you 2 things - he rode the monorail, and Goofy stole his hat (because it matched Goofy's pants). It freaked Toby out at the time, but later at breakfast he said "That silly Goofy, he never steal my hat again!" (we weren't exactly sure if he was making a comment or a threat...) He was shy around the characters that came around to the tables, but he kissed Cinderella on the cheek, and go SO excited to see each of them from afar *lol*

Princess, of course, LOVED every minute of this!! Especially when Cinderella came around the corner! I'm hunting to see if I can have a video of the first time she saw her, but trust me, she was speechless!!

After a REALLY big breakfast, we packed up and headed to California Adventure. We were going to catch the Disney Jr Live on Stage show (which was AWESOME and incredibly interactive and fun! The kids loved it!) but we had some time to kill before then, so we went straight to Carsland, and straight off to meet Lightening McQueen!

After the show, we continued to explore California Adventure for awhile. My kids saw Santa. In Disneyland. Magic!!

After that, we went over to Disneyland. We went on a few rides, and wandered around. The kids were just in awe of all the little details. We went through the castle, and walked around Fantasyland. We also went to Tomorrowland, where the kids LOVED the Buzz Lightyear ride, and Princess loved Star Tours as well. I even braved the rocketship ride for them (I HATE heights!!)

Then we wandered over to It's a Small World to catch the holiday fireworks. They projected videos onto the face of the ride, and we had the perfect spot for the fireworks, and even got "snowed" on afterwards! (and seriously, it was cinnamon-scented!)
